In a few words, production for broadcast, streaming, and live events. Solid execution requires careful planning. We anticipate the problems and do the preproduction work to make your event a success. We conduct meetings to ascertain our client's needs, establish a design and a budget, follow up with reviews and approvals as the project progresses.
We hire talented staff and subcontractors, take care of payroll and insurance, venue relations, and communication between client, technical staff, and vendors. We create a directory of contacts, send out call sheets, and serve as the production contact on the days of load-in and shows. We anticipate power, lighting, sound and video needs. We cultivate strong relationships with top vendors of Mobile Video Production Equipment, Lighting, Live Sound, Recording, Staging, Graphics, Prompting and Live Closed Captioning Providers.

Julian at the switcher for Miss Tennessee
My production career began in Concert Audio during the era of giant analog consoles. Once while mixing the O’Jays, a scorned woman burst through the stage door with a handgun, threatening every man standing in the overcrowded Paradise Club in North Mississippi. Hiding under the console for a few moments of quiet reflection helped me refocus my career…
I landed as staff video/lighting/sound engineer at Union University. Freelance work took off in the 90’s, first as a second-shift Avid editor, then as Director of Photography, where I spent more than a decade. Early HD content originating on Super16 and 35mm film taught me the importance of planned, pre-visualized setups. My time in the guest chair next to the colorists at MPL and Filmworker’s in Nashville demonstrated to me the power of artful color correction.
Lighting design for Ken Gelbach
As a Director of Photography, my work has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, & PBS, ESPN, Fox, and A&E. I have travelled around the world for Fortune 500 companies including Wal-Mart, Exxon, HP, IBM, Dow Chemical, Coca-Cola, FedEx and McDonalds. I've been involved in other interesting projects for Jim Beam, RJ Reynolds, Land Rover/Jaguar, Mazda, and the Salvation Army.
In my role as Producer, I bring not only a close eye on the numbers, but also the benefit of my years of experience in the sound, video, and live event world.
